John Ullmen, Ph.D.
Managing Director
John Ullmen, Ph.D. has extensive coaching and consulting experience at the senior management and CEO level. His clients span a wide range of Fortune 500 firms and industry leaders in technology, media/entertainment, consumer products, healthcare, biotech, finance, banking, real estate, professional services, construction, defense and government agencies.
John lectures on leadership for the UCLA Anderson School of Management in the MBA, FEMBA and EMBA programs, and he delivers custom Executive Education programs as well. He was a finalist for the Award for Teaching Excellence as determined by graduate students, and his elective course was voted one of the “Top Ten” in the student experience.
Based on his ongoing research and practice, he has published numerous assessment instruments, articles and books.
John began his career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a lead systems engineer for a top-secret Joint Chiefs of Staff intelligence program. He holds a B.S. from the USAF Academy, a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from UCLA.
John is a frequent keynote speaker for organizations and business events. He lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Brian J. Adams, MSS/MIS
Lead International Associate
Brian Adams brings an international perspective to our team with 20 years of experience working in over 10 countries throughout Africa, Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific. His clients include transnational governmental organizations, unilateral aid agencies, and industry leaders in construction, education and real estate. Brian is an experienced trainer, lecturer and interventionist in several languages, particularly focused on promoting conflict resolution and collaboration across spatial and cultural boundaries.
As a certified mediator, Brian’s work has ranged from international disputes to commercial and family mediation. He has published on a wide range of conflict resolution issues: cross-cultural mediation, dispute systems design, bridging power differentials, and conflict assessments.
Brian is currently finishing a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Queensland, Australia focused on evaluating alternative dispute resolution processes. He also holds an M.I.S. in Conflict Resolution from the University of Queensland, an M.S.S. in International Development from Utah State University and a B.S. from Brigham Young University.
